Artiflora's Spring Floral Design Workshops:
- Spring Tulips ($95)
-
Sunday, April 1, 2012 - 1 to 4 p.m.
Get into the mind of the Tulip in this workshop. Did you know cut Tulips continue to grow for many days afterwards? With this and other knowledge about this favorite spring flower, we will capture design trends that work to the Tulip's advantage.
This is open to all skill levels. Students will create amazing designs to take home.
- Ode to the Orchid ($245)
-
Friday, May 11, 2012 - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Orchid is one of history's most revered and exotic plants and as a cut flower enjoys a long life in arrangements. We'll bring together a large handful of the most unusual cut stems the flower trade has to offer and explore their use in natural, botanical designs.
This class is open to all skill levels with substantial design challenges possible for former workshop students. Students will create decorative centerpieces to take home.
- Garden Blooms Galore ($95)
-
Sunday, June 10, 2012 - 1 to 4 p.m.
Ohio's spring gardens are at their peak in June. Kay Studer and daughter, Susan King, owners of Buckeye Blooms in northern Ohio, will gather buckets of premium fresh cut garden flowers from their organic flower farm and we will learn how to create designs based on the styles, colors and textures of what Mother Nature brings to us that day. This is open to all skill levels. Students will create original designs to take home and you'll learn how to protect and extend the life of these precious gifts from the garden.
Class sizes are limited to 6 students. Bring your friends, fill the class and enjoy a 20% discount on your tuition.
All materials provided. Lunch is included on full day workshops; dessert is featured on half-day workshops. The use of Artiflora's floral tools is included or can be purchased on the day of the workshop.
